Job summary

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a senior, hands-on Group HR Manager to lead the people function for a boutique hospitality group with properties in the Western and Eastern Cape. You will report to the Group General Manager and support GMs across multiple sites.

Approximately 5+ years in HR, strong generalist skills, and practical knowledge of South African labour law are essential. Travel to properties in the Western and Eastern Cape will be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including senior roles.
• Strong generalist capability with practical knowledge of SA labour law.
• A relevant qualification is preferred.
• Hospitality experience is advantageous but not essential; multi-site experience valued.

• Lead end-to-end recruitment and onboarding across multiple properties.
• Provide practical employee relations support.
• Oversee performance and talent management.
