The ideal candidate has a CA(SA)/ACCA/CPA, 6+ years in group accounting, and hands-on Hyperion or SAP BPC experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for a remote, global environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA)/ACCA/CPA) mandatory.
• Minimum 6 years of experience with group consolidation and IFRS.
• Experience with large ERP/consolidation tools (Hyperion, SAP BPC).
• Strong IFRS expertise including business combinations and currency translation.
• Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of financial statements for multiple subsidiaries in accordance with IFRS.
• Manage intercompany loan and trade reconciliations and eliminations.

• Support the annual audit process by liaising with external auditors and providing required documentation.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the group accounting function, focusing on efficiency and automation.

• Assist with treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting and management.

Requirements
