• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and SA accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
• Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate, timely recording of transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and intercompany accounts.
• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting and budgeting.
• Assist with external audits and provide documentation and explanations.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as CA(SA), ACCA, or CIMA is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial accounting roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS and South African accounting standards.
• Experience with financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting.
