Placements24 is seeking a Group Financial Accountant to consolidate financial data for a multinational group. The role is remote from Richards Bay and focuses on IFRS-compliant group reporting, intercompany reconciliations, and supporting audits and budgeting at the group level.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years in financial accounting with group consolidation exposure, and hold a CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent. Strong Excel skills and remote collaboration experience are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation of financial statements for group entities in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare group-level financial reports, including management accounts and statutory filings.
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and procedures across all subsidiaries.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Support the annual audit process for group financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance of subsidiaries and provide insights to group management.
• Develop and implement improvements to group reporting processes and systems.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities at the group level.
