• Minimum of 6 years of experience in power system analysis and grid integration, with a focus on energy storage systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design grid interconnection schemes for renewable energy projects and energy storage systems.
• Perform power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, transient stability, and harmonic analysis.
• Develop and validate control strategies for grid-connected energy storage systems.
• Ensure compliance with grid codes, utility interconnection requirements, and relevant industry standards.
• Collaborate with project development teams, engineering consultants, and utility engineers.
• Provide technical expertise during the design, procurement, and commissioning phases of projects.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to grid integration and energy storage systems.
• Stay abreast of evolving grid technologies, regulations, and market trends.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical development of the team.

• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote and office-based tasks.
• Experience collaborating with utilities and regulatory bodies.
• Familiarity with renewable energy technologies (solar, wind) is a plus.
• Based in or willing to commute to Pretoria, Gauteng for hybrid work requirements.
