Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer for our client in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on geotechnical investigations, design of foundations and earthworks for energy infrastructure, and on-site supervision to ensure safety and performance of projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s degree in Geotechnical or Civil Engineering, with 8+ years of relevant experience, proficiency with PLAXIS/SLOPE/W/SEEP/W, and willingness to travel to project sites.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, manage, and interpret geotechnical site investigations.
• Analyze geological and geotechnical data to assess site conditions and risks for energy infrastructure.
• Design foundations (shallow and deep), retaining walls, and earthworks for energy structures.
• Develop geotechnical reports, specifications, and drawings to project specs.
