Placements24 is seeking a Senior Geoscientist to join its technical team in Paarl, Western Cape. You will interpret subsurface data, build geological models, and evaluate hydrocarbon potential within Oil & Gas.

You will collaborate with engineers, geologists, and drilling teams to define targets and development plans, contributing to strategic exploration efforts. The role requires a Master's degree and 9+ years of experience in seismic interpretation, geological modeling, and data integration.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geology, Geophysics, or a related earth science field.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in exploration and development geoscience in Oil & Gas.
• Proven seismic interpretation, well correlation, and geological modeling expertise.

Responsibilities

• Experience with 3D geological modeling and uncertainty analysis is highly desirable.
