Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Geophysics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in applied geophysics, preferably within Oil & Gas exploration.
• Proficiency in seismic data processing and interpretation software (Petrel, OpendTect, IHS Markit).
• Strong understanding of seismic acquisition principles, wave propagation theory, and data processing algorithms.

Responsibilities

• Process, interpret, and integrate seismic data (2D/3D) to delineate subsurface structures and identify potential reservoirs.
• Perform attribute analysis, inversion, and other advanced geophysical techniques to enhance subsurface imaging.
• Collaborate with geologists and reservoir engineers to build integrated geological models.
• Develop geophysical exploration strategies and oversee seismic acquisition programs where applicable.
• Ensure data quality and perform quality control throughout the seismic processing and interpretation workflow.
• Prepare detailed geophysical reports and present findings to technical and management teams.
