Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Geophysical Data Analyst for our Centurion team. You will process, analyze, and interpret seismic, gravity, and magnetic data to support exploration and reservoir characterization.

Proficiency with Petrel and Kingdom Suite is essential, as is collaboration with geologists and engineers. The role requires a Master's in Geophysics and at least 5 years of industry experience, with strong data interpretation skills and the ability to translate complex datasets

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Geophysics, Earth Sciences, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in geophysical data analysis within Oil & Gas.
• Strong proficiency in seismic interpretation software and data processing techniques.
• Solid understanding of geological principles and their relation to geophysical signatures.

Responsibilities

• Process, analyze, and interpret seismic, gravity, and magnetic data.
• Utilize Petrel and Kingdom Suite for interpretation and visualization.
• Identify and map geological structures and potential reservoirs.
• Integrate geophysical data with geological and well log information.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations on interpretations and findings.
• Collaborate with geologists, reservoir engineers, and other geoscientists.
• Perform quality control on geophysical datasets.
• Assist in planning and execution of geophysical surveys.
• Stay updated with latest geophysical technologies and methodologies.
