Job summary

Headhunters seeks an experienced senior operations leader to drive strategic and day-to-day management of a multi-site transportation hub. You will direct fuel operations, retail facilities, food outlets, truck parking and related infrastructure, delivering efficiency, profitability and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in senior management in related sectors.
• Experience managing large teams, multi-unit operations and budgets.
• Strong commercial and financial management including budgeting and profitability.
• Familiar with retail POS, fuel management, CCTV and access control.
• Proficient in WinBranch, NAMOS and SAP Retail.
• Knowledge of SA labour law and MIBCO regulations.
• Flexible hours and readiness for emergencies

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all operational areas of the transportation hub.
• Oversee daily fuel ops, retail facilities, food outlets and truck parking.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure world-class service standards across the facility.
• Manage overall operational budget and financial performance.
• Lead recruitment, training, succession planning and performance.
• Ensure compliance with labour law and company policies.
• Foster safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
