Placements24 in George, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced Fundraising Manager to lead strategic fundraising initiatives for a reputable non-profit. This senior role focuses on developing comprehensive strategies, donor cultivation, and sustainable funding.

You will drive campaigns across individual giving, grants, corporate partnerships, and events; manage donor data and reporting; mentor staff and volunteers; and stay ahead of fundraising trends to maximise the organization’s impact.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of progressive fundraising experience.
• Proven success in securing significant financial contributions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with persuasive storytelling and proposal writing.
• Ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with donors and stakeholders.
• Strong strategic planning and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience with donor management software (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge).
• Knowledge of grant writing and foundation relations.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; Master's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage strategic fundraising plans and campaigns across channels.
• Cultivate and steward donor relationships with foundations and sponsors in George.
• Prepare grant proposals and reports meeting funder requirements.
• Organize fundraising events and maximize ROI.
