Storyteq is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join our Amsterdam-based team, building robust backend services and frontend features with real product impact. You will collaborate across product, design, DevOps to scale our platform, implement new features, and maintain high performance.

The role emphasizes engineering excellence, shared ownership, and mentoring colleagues in best practices. You will help deliver end-to-end value for global enterprises, shaping the platform's future.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with PHP (Laravel).
• Experience with Vue.js (or other front-end frameworks).
• Solid experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Proficient in data modeling and working with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles.
• You're proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up.
• Confident in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

The team works with strong goals and a good balance of product & engineering roadmap features. That way we make sure we always keep our technology and product on track!

Key Requirements:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience delivering full-stack products with PHP (Laravel)
• Have experience with Vue.js (or other front-end frameworks)
• Solid experience designing and integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs
• Comfortable working in monorepo environments and modular architectures
• Proficient in data modeling and working with SQL/NoSQL databases
• Familiar with testing practices, performance tuning, and scalable design principles
• You're proactive, result-driven, and excited to work in a fast-growing tech scale-up
• Confident in making architectural decisions and communicating trade-offs
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have:

• Have affinity with TypeScript
• Experience with OAuth 2.0 authentication protocol, and SOAP
• Experience with Gitlab CI/CD, DevOps, public cloud (like GCP)
