Placements24 is seeking a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our client’s on-site team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. You will design, develop, and deploy robust backend systems and dynamic frontend interfaces for cutting-edge financial platforms.

The ideal candidate brings 6+ years of experience in backend and frontend development, expert knowledge of Python/Java/Node.js, and strong database and cloud/containerization skills. Join a fast-growing FinTech company in Durban.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional full-stack development experience.
• Backend proficiency: Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring), or Node.js (Express).
• Frontend proficiency: React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• RESTful API design and microservices architecture.
• Cloud platforms and containerization: AWS/Azure/GCP + Docker/Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS, SWE, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Build responsive frontend with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Manage relational and NoSQL databases for performance.
• Ensure security best practices and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with product, design, and other developers.
• Write clean, well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
• Optimize for speed, scalability, reliability.
• Troubleshoot across full stack from DB to UI.
