Placements24 seeks a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join our client’s fintech product team in Kimberley, Northern Cape. You will own the full software lifecycle, build scalable web applications, and collaborate across product, design, and engineering to deliver robust solutions.

You should have 5+ years in full‑stack development, strong React/Angular/Vue skills, Python/Node.js, and experience with cloud platforms and containers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React/Angular/Vue).
• Strong experience with back-end languages/frameworks (Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
• Solid knowledge of databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and testing methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frameworks.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for front-end and back-end systems.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Implement and manage RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
• Optimize performance, scalability, and security of applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack.
• Participate in code reviews and share knowledge.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and technical roadmaps.
