Job summary

The Legends Agency in Sandton is seeking a seasoned Full-Stack & AI Developer/Engineer to own a production platform and drive AI-enabled digital experiences. Hybrid working arrangement with an established client base focused on organisational development and digital innovation.

You will translate business requirements into secure, scalable software, lead knowledge transfer from an external provider, and oversee external providers while shaping platform security and performance.

Qualifications

Seven+ years of professional software development experience is expected.
Strong full-stack TypeScript development with React and Next.js required.
Experience designing, building, and maintaining scalable AI-enabled features.
Proven ability to own and improve an established production platform.

Responsibilities

Hold at least 7 years of professional software development experience at mid to senior level.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable front-end and back-end functionality.
Monitor and support live production platform availability, security, and performance.
Strengthen platform architecture for growth, multi-tenant environments, and scalability.
Lead AI-enabled functionality, prompts, workflows, and retrieval-augmented generation.
Build and maintain API integrations with calendars, enterprise tools, webhooks, and analytics.
Oversee external providers, define technical delivery standards, and review security and costs.
