Job summary

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or management accounting.
• Honours degree would be advantageous.
• Professional qualification or SAICA/CIMA membership advantageous.
• 5+ years in GL management, financial reporting and reconciliations.
• 3–5 years in FP&A, leadership and stakeholder management.
• ERP system experience.
• Strong IFRS and accounting principles.
• Experience with large data sets.
• FX transaction experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support accurate and timely month-end and group reporting.
• Maintain GL, trial balance, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage working capital across debtors, creditors and cash.
• Support tax, audit, company secretarial, banking and internal control.
• Lead budgeting, financial analysis and cross-functional initiatives.
• Manage foreign exchange requirements and related accounting.
• Lead weekly grower payments and related processes.
• Lead end-of-season fruit pool reconciliation.
• Build stakeholder relationships across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain.
• Develop and coach team members in a high-performing Finance team.
