About the Role Our client, a rapidly expanding e-commerce platform, is looking for a talented Senior Frontend Engineer with extensive experience in Angular to join their innovative product development team. This role is pivotal in shaping the user interface and user experience of their flagship online store and associated applications. You will lead the development of complex, responsive, and visually appealing interfaces, collaborating closely with UX/UI designers and backend engineers. The position offers a chance to work with modern web technologies and make a significant impact on customer engagement. This role is based in Bloemfontein, Free State .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript.
• Translate complex UI/UX designs and wireframes into functional and interactive web applications.
• Collaborate effectively with backend engineers to integrate frontend components with server-side logic and APIs.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following established best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot UI bugs and performance issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies and trends, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
• Work within an Agile/Scrum development process, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior frontend developers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Requirements
