The successful candidate will manage product processes from conception to delivery, conduct product and trade analyses, and ensure targets such as sales and markdowns are met. A minimum of 10 years' experience in Footwear Buying, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency in Advanced Excel are essential. A valid driver's license is also required for potential travel to East London.

Job Purpose

• To take charge and procure Footwear products within specified
  parameters whilst adhering to OTB (Open to Buy) / Purchasing
  Budgets, GP and Markdowns within the business.
• To manage product processes from conception to delivery of order.
• To highlight key areas that aid efficient decision-making within the
  business.
• To support the needs of the Footwear Department and functions
  within the business whilst inspiring innovation and future trends.
• To be proficient across all roles related to the buying department
  whilst reporting on key areas relating to the business performance

Location

Candidate will ideally be based in Durban, and will be required
to travel to East London on the needs of the business.
