Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a Fitter and Turner for an automotive manufacturing client in East London. The candidate will need a Fitter and Turner trade test certificate and strong mechanical skills, with 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of proven experience in the manufacturing or general engineering environment.
• Strong experience with Centre Lathe and Milling Machine.
• Ability to measure and cut materials to specifications.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate components according to engineering drawings.
• Ensure workshop runs smoothly and safely.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Work with Apprentices to upskill.
