Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical Fitter and Turner with a relevant trade certificate (e.g., Red Seal).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment.
• Proficiency in operating manual lathes, milling machines, and other precision machining equipment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and engineering drawings.
• Excellent measuring and inspection skills, with a high degree of accuracy.
• Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Good problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong commitment to quality, safety, and workplace hygiene.
• Basic understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics is an advantage.

Responsibilities
