Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Bedfordview is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple technology initiatives in a fintech environment. You will own the full project lifecycle, coordinate cross-functional teams across product, development, data, and operations, and ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.

The role emphasizes client engagement, risk management, and governance, with a focus on secure, scalable payment solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• PM certification such as PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies preferred
• Minimum 6 years' project management experience within fintech, banking, or payment solutions environments
• Strong experience using Jira and Confluence
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall
• Exposure to APIs, systems integrations, and payment technologies
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and client management capability
• Strong organisational, reporting, and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple concurrent technology and implementation projects
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation plans
• Facilitate client onboarding, kickoff meetings, and project status engagements
• Translate technical and business requirements into actionable deliverables
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and dependencies
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and governance processes
• Drive issue resolution and escalation management across stakeholders
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including product, development, QA, operations, and support
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, security, and quality standards
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives
