Job summary

Inuka Partners, based in Cape Town, seeks a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant to lead IFRS reporting and fund accounting across multi- jurisdictional private equity platforms. The role collaborates with investment teams, fund administrators, auditors, and investors to ensure timely, accurate financial statements and governance.

The position requires a CA(SA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience, strong IFRS knowledge, and proven audit liaison skills.

Qualifications

CA(SA) with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
Experience within fund management or fund administration.
Strong IFRS financial reporting knowledge.
Experience managing audits and working with external stakeholders.
Advanced Excel and strong financial systems skills.
Private equity fund experience and investor reporting exposure preferred.
Experience with multi-jurisdictional structures advantageous.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review IFRS-compliant financial statements and management reports.
Support investor, regulatory, and audit reporting requirements.
Maintain strong financial controls across group and fund structures.
Support fund accounting, including capital events, cash flow management, and treasury.
Coordinate tax, legal, and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
Partner with investment and operational teams on financial matters.
Support finance systems improvements and reporting best practices.
