Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst for its Port Elizabeth finance team. The role focuses on corporate finance, modeling, forecasting, and strategic planning to support senior management.

You will build complex models, conduct variance and profitability analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to M&A due diligence and strategic projects in a hybrid environment in the Eastern Cape.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or related field.
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Superior communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and valuation.
• Conduct variance, trend, and profitability analyses.
• Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Assist in strategic planning with scenario analysis.
• Monitor KPIs and provide insights into business performance.
• Support mergers and acquisitions due diligence and integration.
