Job summary

BP3 Global, Inc. in South Africa seeks a fully qualified Senior Financial Accountant to own the general ledger and month-end close in a multi-currency environment.

You will prepare and post journals, maintain audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations, and take first-level review responsibility for the AP Specialist, reporting into the Financial Controller. You will work hands-on in the ledger, ensuring timely closes, accuracy, and adherence to internal controls across multiple entities and

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 4+ years post-qualification experience in financial accounting, ideally in a multi-entity environment.
• Hands-on experience with month-end journals, general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
• NetSuite experience highly advantageous; strong Excel skills.
• Experience reviewing the work of a bookkeeper or AP team member is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own month-end close for assigned entities—from journals to review.
• Maintain audit-ready balance sheet reconciliations and schedules.
• Guide the AP Specialist, including bank, supplier, and credit-card reconciliations.
• Prepare payroll-related journals and balances, incl. leave provisions and accruals.
• Maintain fixed asset register and amortisation schedules.
• Manage intercompany balances and multi-currency revaluations across the Group.
• Support VAT and statutory accounting across entities with external advisers.
