Job summary

Network Finance is working with a growing technology-focused business in South Africa to recruit a hands-on Senior Financial Accountant. You will own the full financial accounting function and drive the month-end close, with responsibility for management reporting and cash flow oversight.

The role requires a BCom in Accounting/Finance and 4–6 years of relevant experience, strong Excel, ERP experience, and keen analytical skills.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting/Finance is required.
• 4–6 years of relevant financial accounting experience.
• Strong month-end and management reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Commercial mindset with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the full financial accounting function.
• Drive month-end close and management reporting.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage debtors, creditors and cash flow.
• Oversee VAT and statutory compliance.
• Analyse financial performance and variances.
• Assist with budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
• Strengthen financial controls and processes.
• Support annual financial statements and external audits.
• Provide commercial insights to management.
