We are looking to appoint a Senior Financial Accountant to join our finance team within a dynamic and growing investment environment.

This role offers meaningful exposure to group reporting, consolidations, and investment structures, with the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our finance function.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will take ownership of key reporting processes across multiple entities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and insight in all financial outputs. You will play a central role in strengthening controls, supporting audits, and enhancing financial systems and processes.

This is a role for someone who enjoys technical depth, but is equally motivated by impact, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
• Manage group consolidations across multi-entity structures
• Deliver high-quality management reporting and variance analysis
• Oversee aspects of investment / fund accounting where applicable
• Support audit processes and engage with external auditors
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, tax, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• CA(SA) with a strong academic track record
• 6-10 years' post-qualification experience
• Trained within a reputable audit firm (preferably Big 4)
• Strong technical expertise in IFRS and financial reporting
• Experience with group consolidations and complex structures
• Exposure to financial services, investment management, or fund environments is advantageous
• A proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes ownership and thrives in a high-performance environment

Advantageous:

• MBA / Master's in Taxation or Accounting
