Job summary

TotalEnergies Renewables Southern Africa seeks a Chartered Accountant with at least six years post-qualification experience to lead governance, accounting and treasury across multiple SPVs in a growing renewables portfolio.

You will drive budget control, tax compliance, reporting to head office and external auditors, and liaise with lenders and regulators. Strong leadership, precision and deadline discipline are essential in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Chartered accountant with minimum 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Previous experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPPP) project bidding, award to financial close, construction and operations.
• Detail oriented, with an ability to establish and follow processes.
• Able to work under pressure and with sharp deadlines.
• Management, communication and business skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vigilant respect of local laws and regulations.
• Budget and Long-Term Plan (LTP) development and monitoring.
• Cash flow management and payment approvals.
• Liaison with operational teams, lenders, regulators and external auditors.
• Coordinate company and external financial audits and advisory services.
