Job Description

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

Financial Reporting and Performance Management

• Produce accurate monthly financial reports, including management reporting packs, branch performance summaries, group consolidations, and detailed trend and variance assessments.


• Oversee balance sheet integrity through regular reconciliations, proper accounting for provisions and accruals, and ensuring preparedness for external and internal audits.


• Deliver clear financial insights, highlighting key business trends, risks, and practical recommendations to improve performance.

Business Partnership and Operational Analysis

• Partner with the Managing Director to provide meaningful reporting and analytics on key performance indicators such as turnover, margins, work in progress, debtor management, insurance recoveries, labour efficiency, parts profitability, operational productivity, and cash flow.


• Collaborate with branch leadership and operational teams to uncover profitability challenges, reduce unnecessary costs, streamline processes, and enhance overall business performance.


• Contribute to the preparation of budgets, forecasting models, investment evaluations, supplier assessments, capital expenditure requests, and branch review processes.

Risk Management, Compliance and Leadership

• Strengthen and monitor financial governance by maintaining sound controls over cash management, banking activities, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, inventory, expenditure approvals, and related financial procedures.


• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory, taxation, audit, banking, data protection, insurer, and internal policy requirements.


• Manage, mentor, and develop the finance function, promoting a culture of accuracy, accountability, continuous improvement, and timely delivery of results.

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar position
