Job summary

Atain is seeking an Executive / Senior Executive - Finance to manage day-to-day finance and accounting for the South Africa entity, ensuring statutory compliance, accurate records, and audit support, with collaboration to Head Office Finance Team in India.

The role requires 2–3 years of SA finance experience, IFRS knowledge, and strong Excel and ERP skills, including SAP, Oracle, or MS Dynamics. Collaboration with international teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional qualification such as Inter CA(SA), ACCA, CIMA, SAIPA, or equivalent will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate accounting entries in SAP ERP.
• Ensure timely and accurate posting of journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.
• Maintain the general ledger and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare financial data and reports as required by Head Office Finance team.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and reconciliations.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
