Amazon AWS Infrastructure Services is seeking a Sr. Critical Infrastructure Electrical Engineer for Field Engineering. You will support AWS Data Centers from design through maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

The role involves cross-team collaboration to ensure safety, reliability and energy efficiency while delivering projects on time and within budget. The position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field and experience with mission critical facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
• Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment is preferred.
• Experience with design, construction, operation or maintenance of mission critical facilities is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, conduct RCA and create CA documentation for site/equipment failures.
• Own the conceptual design for data center upgrades to add capacity, improve availability and efficiency.
• Interface with operations, design engineering, server hardware and EHS teams to promote standards.
• Lead engineering audits and on-site visits, producing risk reports with mitigations.
• Serve as resident engineer during new construction projects, supporting commissioning and turnover.
