• Ensure optimal use of resources, including water, fertilizer, seeds, and machinery, to control costs and maximize yields.
• Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and implement effective control measures.
• Supervise planting, cultivation, irrigation, and harvesting processes according to best practices.
• Maintain farm machinery and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and operated safely.
• Implement and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations on the farm.
• Maintain accurate records of farm activities, yields, expenses, and inventory.
• Collaborate with agronomists and other technical experts to adopt new farming technologies and practices.
• Contribute to budget preparation and management for the assigned farm operations.
