About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Farm Manager to oversee the operations of our flagship farm. While the position is primarily based on-site, a hybrid work model is in place, allowing for some remote flexibility for administrative tasks and strategic planning. The Farm Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of all farm activities, ensuring optimal crop production, efficient resource management, and the implementation of sustainable practices. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of farm operations, including crop planning, planting, cultivation, harvesting, and post-harvest management.
• Develop and implement strategies for sustainable agriculture, focusing on soil health, water conservation, biodiversity, and reduced chemical inputs.
• Manage and lead a team of farm workers, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to best practices.
• Monitor crop health, identify pests and diseases, and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.
• Manage farm equipment and machinery, ensuring proper maintenance and operation.
• Oversee irrigation systems and water resource management to ensure efficient water use.
• Maintain accurate records of all farm activities, including planting dates, yields, expenses, and labor.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Collaborate with agronomists and other technical experts to optimize farm performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management or a senior agricultural supervisory role.
• Proven experience in implementing and managing sustainable agricultural practices.
• Strong understanding of crop science, soil management, and pest/disease control.
