Job summary

HospitalityandOutdoor in Hartbeespoort Dam, Gauteng is seeking a seasoned Food & Beverage Manager to lead operations at a premier hospitality destination. You will oversee guest experiences, ensure financial efficiency, and uphold high service standards across all F&B outlets.

The ideal candidate has at least 8 years in catering or related sectors, a National Diploma in Hotel Catering, strong leadership, and excellent communication. A valid driver's license and flexibility are essential.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 qualification
• National Diploma in Hotel Catering or equivalent
• Strong finance acumen with attention to food cost management
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in catering, industrial, or resale environments
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 5 years of managerial experience
• Adaptability to diverse working areas and conditions
• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
• Customer service focus with guest‑centric approach
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Proven people management skills

Responsibilities

• Daily communication with Heads of Departments and superiors
• Control COS processes to achieve monthly budgets
• Ensure daily sales balance in income statements
• Check and sign off daily cash‑ups
• Maintain hygiene standards and food quality per company benchmarks
• Monitor training needs and ensure on‑the‑job training is delivered
• Manage HR processes effectively
• Verify supplier invoices and stock system data accuracy
• Prepare handovers, reports, and control documents
• Oversee health, safety, and hygiene compliance
• Perform additional duties as required by management
