Qualifications

About the Role

You will be responsible for managing exploration programs from inception to resource definition, working closely with geochemists, geophysicists, and drilling teams. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and manage geological exploration programs, including mapping, sampling, and drilling.
• Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data to identify targets for mineralisation.
• Supervise field teams, including geologists, technicians, and drilling contractors.
• Prepare detailed exploration reports, resource estimates, and geological models.
• Ensure all exploration activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Geology or Economic Geology.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in mineral exploration, with a strong track record in identifying and defining new deposits.
• Expertise in structural geology, economic geology, and field mapping techniques.
• Proficiency in geological software for data integration and modeling (e.g., Leapfrog, ArcGIS).
• Experience in the geology of the Limpopo region and its associated mineral systems, particularly relevant to Polokwane .
