The role requires MSc/PhD in Geology, 10+ years in mineral exploration, strong GIS and 3D modelling skills (ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Micromine), and proven leadership. SACNASP desirable; extensive travel and relocation are integral to the position.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in Geology or Economic Geology from a recognized university.
• 10+ years post-graduate experience in mineral exploration with focus on base metals and/or precious metals.
• Proven success in discovering economic mineral deposits.
• Expertise in GIS software (ArcGIS) and 3D modelling software (Leapfrog, Micromine).
• Proficiency in geochemical and geophysical exploration techniques.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively; valid driver’s license.
• SACNASP registration is highly desirable.
