Placements24 is seeking an experienced Event Director to oversee planning and execution of major sporting events from Centurion, Gauteng. This senior role requires a visionary leader with a track record in managing complex logistics, budgets, and stakeholder relations for high-profile occasions.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and drive attendee experience across remote engagements.

Qualificações

• 10+ years of event management experience, focused on major sporting events.
• Proven track record delivering large-scale international or national sporting events.
• Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Conceptualize and execute major sporting events from planning to completion.
• Develop and manage event budgets to meet targets and optimize spend.
• Lead cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, logistics, and security.
• Oversee venue selection, contracts, and supplier relationships.
