Job summary

Sabenza IT & Recruitment seeks an ERP technical owner to govern the Epicor Kinetic platform across LIVE/TEST/DEV, ensuring scalable, compliant operations and robust integrations.

You will drive architecture, manage SQL Server health, and support BI/reporting while coordinating regulatory controls and after-hours cutovers.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a comparable ERP technical ownership role.
• Hands-on Epicor Kinetic implementation, administration and support.
• Strong business process understanding across finance, supply chain, manufacturing and HR.
• Regulated manufacturing experience (CSV, audit) is a plus.
• SQL Server health, backups, recovery, and security management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full Epicor Kinetic lifecycle and technical ownership across LIVE/TEST/DEV.
• Define roadmap, standards, configuration, and technical specs; lead escalations.
• Manage platform, server and environment health, patches, upgrades and backups.
• Oversee integrations, data mapping, BI reporting, and API troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with CSV, change control, and audit requirements.
• Coordinate releases, hypercare, and multi-site rollouts across time zones.

Job description

Own the full technical lifecycle of Epicor Kinetic ERP and its integrated estate (including MES and related systems). Act as the technical owner and primary business-IT bridge across architecture, environments (LIVE/TEST/DEV), SQL Server health, integrations, security, releases, monitoring, backups and recovery, and new module/site/entity rollouts. Ensure the platform remains scalable, controlled, and compliant with business rules and regulated processes. Support dual sites across time zones, with occasional travel and after-hours availability for cutovers, hypercare, and month-end.

Key Responsibilities

ERP Architecture & Technical Ownership

Define and maintain the global Epicor Kinetic roadmap, standards, configuration, and technical specifications.Provide technical leadership and final escalation for complex issues.Drive integrations and ensure architectural integrity across the estate.

Platform, Server & Environment Management

Manage LIVE/TEST/DEV environments, SQL Server, services, scheduled processes, patches, and upgrades.Maintain deployment registers, availability, performance, and recovery planning.

Integrations, Security & Controlled Change

Own APIs/interfaces with finance, banking, tax, shipping, CRM, data, and manufacturing systems.Manage privileged security, change/release/rollback procedures, and controlled deployments.

Data, MDM, Reporting & BI

Support MDM on data models, DMT, and migration.Support Data Architects and BI on BAQs, SSRS, extracts, lineage, and troubleshooting.Own ERP-side reports, labels, Certificates of Analysis (CofA), and print routing.

Incident, Rollout & Compliance

Deliver L2/L3 resolution, root-cause analysis, and vendor escalation.Lead cutovers and hypercare.Protect traceability, label/CofA integrity, financial posting rules, CSV validation evidence, and change control.

Project Management

Own plans, timelines, RAID logs, decision logs, and steering reporting.Ensure named owners for all workstreams.

Regulated Systems

Apply CSV, change control, and audit support within a manufacturing environment (ISO 13485, GMP, or equivalent).Requirements7+ years in a comparable ERP technical ownership role, plus a degree or diploma in IT/Systems (or equivalent).Hands-on Epicor Kinetic implementation, administration, and support (required or strongly preferred).Strong business process understanding across finance, supply chain, manufacturing, and HR.Data mapping/transformation, integrations/middleware, project management (scope, timelines, risk), change management, and vendor collaboration.Regulated manufacturing experience (CSV, validation, traceability, labels/CofA, audit).Multi-site / multi-company ERP environments with intercompany processes and time-zone realities.Finance literacy (posting rules, month-end, bank/tax integrations, reconciliations).SQL Server administration (backups, recovery, maintenance).REST/OData integrations and API troubleshooting.BAQ, dashboards, and SSRS report development.Analytical problem-solving, organisation, attention to detail, and clear written/verbal communication.Comfortable with after-hours work during critical windows and occasional travel.
