You will lead EIAs, develop EMPs and rehabilitation plans, advise on risks, and mentor junior staff while coordinating with regulators and communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Environmental Science or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental management, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
• Knowledge of SA environmental legislation (e.g., NEMA) and permitting processes.
• Experience with environmental modeling and risk assessment techniques.
• Strong project management and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in GIS and environmental data systems.
