Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Geology, or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of environmental management experience, preferably mining/industrial.
• Strong knowledge of South African environmental legislation and permitting.
• Experience with environmental monitoring and data analysis.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Ability to conduct field assessments in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and related studies for mining projects.
• Develop and implement Environmental Management Plans (EMPs) to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor environmental parameters, including water quality, air quality, and biodiversity, and analyze results.
