Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in environmental engineering or compliance within the chemical industry.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (air quality, water discharge, hazardous waste) and ISO 14001.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills suitable for a remote role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for environmental compliance, waste reduction, and pollution prevention.
• Monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring adherence to permits and regulations.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Oversee the design and operation of environmental control systems (e.g., wastewater treatment, air pollution control).
• Stay updated on evolving environmental legislation and best practices.
• Provide technical guidance and training on environmental matters to relevant teams.
