Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in environmental compliance in chemical/industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations (air quality, water discharge, waste management).
- Experience with environmental management systems (ISO 14001).
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement environmental compliance programs and strategies.
- Monitor plant emissions, waste streams, and resource consumption.
- Ensure adherence to environmental laws, regulations, and permits.
- Conduct environmental impact assessments and mitigation measures.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to integrate sustainable practices into process design.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory agencies.
- Investigate environmental incidents and develop corrective action plans.
