The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Chemical Engineering with an environmental focus and 8+ years’ experience, including wastewater and air pollution control technologies.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Chemical Engineering with Environmental specialization.
• 8+ years of experience in environmental management and chemical process applications.
• In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations (national and international).
• Proven experience with environmental technologies (water treatment, air scrubbing, waste valorization).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for environmental compliance and pollution prevention.
• Design and oversee wastewater treatment systems, air pollution control equipment, and solid waste management processes.
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and risk analyses.
• Monitor environmental performance and prepare regulatory reports.
• Provide technical environmental expertise to project teams and operational staff.
• Stay abreast of environmental legislation and best practices.
• Lead and mentor junior environmental engineers and technicians.
• Collaborate with government agencies and external stakeholders on environmental permitting and compliance.
• Optimize processes for resource recovery and waste minimization.
• Champion sustainability initiatives within the company.
