Job summary

HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of complex multidisciplinary engineering programs, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule and budget. You will drive governance, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks and stakeholder expectations to achieve successful outcomes for customers.

The role requires a diploma or degree in engineering, several years of PM experience, and formal PM training.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years' project management experience.
Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Bachelor's degree preferred.
Formal Project Management training required.
Experience with multidisciplinary systems; aerospace or radar exposure advantageous.
Proven leadership and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and governance of complex engineering projects with defined scope, schedules, budgets, and milestones.
Drive cross-disciplinary delivery, procurement, and technical reviews to meet cost, schedule, and quality targets.
Manage risks, issues and stakeholder engagement to enable informed decisions.
Coordinate engineering, quality assurance and supplier activities to ensure compliant outputs.
Oversee project handover, closure reviews, lessons learned and reporting.
