The ideal candidate has 5+ years in energy trading or market analysis, strong quantitative skills, and proficiency in Python, R, and SQL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Finance, Math, Statistics, Engineering).
• Minimum of 5 years of energy trading or market analysis experience.
• Strong quantitative and forecasting skills; experience with statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth energy market data analysis (supply, demand, price, weather).
• Develop and maintain predictive models for energy prices and volatility.
• Evaluate profitability and risk of trading strategies.
• Monitor macroeconomic and geopolitical factors affecting energy markets.
• Prepare market reports, trading recommendations, and senior management presentations.
• Collaborate with traders and risk managers to identify opportunities and manage risk.
• Support development of new trading tools and analytics platforms.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
