Placements24 seeks a proactive Senior Project Engineer specializing in energy efficiency to join our Sandton team. Lead and deliver energy‑saving initiatives across diverse facilities, from audits through implementation.

You will plan, analyze, and manage complex projects with stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and measurable savings while staying abreast of evolving energy technologies and industry standards.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of project engineering experience with emphasis on energy efficiency.
• Experience managing multiple projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of building systems and energy‑efficient technologies.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct energy audits and assessments to identify opportunities for energy savings across client facilities.
• Develop detailed project proposals with technical specs, cost‑benefit analyses, and implementation plans.
• Manage execution of energy efficiency projects, overseeing contractors and timelines/budgets.
• Monitor and verify energy savings achieved through implemented projects.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to promote energy conservation best practices.
• Stay current with energy efficiency technologies, trends, and regulatory requirements.
