Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Senior Electronic Hardware Engineer in Centurion to lead the development of advanced electronic hardware from concept to production. You will design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits, develop with ARM/STM32/Microchip platforms, and work closely with firmware teams to ensure robust hardware.

The role requires 5+ years in electronic hardware development, strong schematic/PCB skills (Altium), and experience with power management and lab testing.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronic/Electrical/Mechatronic Engineering or related.
• 5+ years in electronic hardware/product development.
• Experience moving products from concept to production.
• Strong schematic capture and PCB design skills.
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or similar tools.
• Solid analogue and digital electronics knowledge.
• Experience with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
• Hardware debugging and fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience with lab test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end electronic hardware development lifecycle from requirements to production.
• Design analogue, digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Produce schematics and PCB designs; manage BOMs and tests.
• Develop embedded hardware using ARM, STM32, Microchip platforms.
• Select components for performance, reliability, lifecycle and cost.
• Develop power-management solutions and battery systems.
• Hardware bring-up, debugging and root-cause analysis.
• Use lab equipment to diagnose hardware issues.
• Conduct hardware verification, validation and reliability testing.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers for hardware/firmware integration.
• Address EMC/EMI, signal integrity, thermal and electrical safety.
• Produce engineering docs and support manufacturing transition.
• Work with suppliers/CMs on sourcing and assembly.
• Participate in design reviews and drive improvements.
