Job summary

Sheldon Recruitment and Selection is seeking a qualified Millwright (Electromechanician) with 5+ years in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations. The role requires experience with SCADA/PLC, pumps, instrumentation, and fault-finding in heavy industrial mining environments.

The successful candidate will manage maintenance activities, adhere to MHSA/OHSA, implement preventive strategies, and work across multiple-site operations with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Qualified Millwright having undergone apprenticeship or equivalent training.
• Section 13 or Section 26D Trade Test Certificate as a Millwright (Electromechanician).
• 5+ years in maintenance of large electrical and mechanical installations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure application of MaintainX CMMS and asset marking with Asset Register.
• Attend breakdowns and prioritise jobs promptly.
• Plan and perform routine servicing, repairs and preventive maintenance on electro-mechanical equipment.
