Placements24 in Stellenbosch is seeking a skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical installations and maintenance for construction projects in and around Stellenbosch. You will lead electricians, manage resources and coordinate with project managers to ensure safe and compliant execution of electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has strong technical knowledge, leadership abilities and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a recognized trade qualification.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in electrical construction.
• Knowledge of South African electrical regulations, safety standards, and wiring codes.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct electricians and electrical teams on construction sites.
• Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance meet specifications and codes.
• Plan and schedule electrical work in line with project timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections for quality and compliance of electrical systems.
• Manage electrical materials, tools and equipment and ensure adequate supply.
