Placements24 is seeking a Senior Electrical Projects Engineer for our Mossel Bay office to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of major electrical infrastructure projects.

You will manage scopes, budgets, timelines, and multi-disciplinary teams while ensuring safety, quality, and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• 8+ years of experience in project engineering/management, with electrical focus.
• Proven ability to lead complex electromechanical projects.
• Experience with MS Project or Primavera and strong leadership/communication skills.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for project planning, resource allocation, budget management, and ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards. We are looking for a results-oriented professional with strong leadership capabilities and a comprehensive understanding of electrical project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities

• Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of contract management and risk assessment.
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng.) or ECSA registration is advantageous.
• Experience working in the Western Cape region or familiarity with local regulations is a plus.
