Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Engineer to lead complex industrial projects from our Mossel Bay base. You will oversee electrical design, control systems, and safety compliance, driving projects from conception through commissioning with hands-on site management.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of industrial experience, proven leadership, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD or Revit MEP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering with an industrial focus.
• Proven track record in managing electrical aspects of large-scale industrial construction or modification projects.
• Proficiency with electrical design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP) and project management tools.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical codes, safety standards (OSHA, local regulations).

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, engineering and implementation for industrial plants and facilities.
• Develop detailed electrical schematics, control system architectures, and specifications for power distribution, machinery, and automation.
• Oversee procurement of electrical equipment and materials, liaising with suppliers and ensuring quality standards.
